 Modification bentonite clay CP-22 | Organoclay

Modification bentonite clay CP-22 is a new style of organo clay rheological additive made from bentonite. Modification bentonite clay is used in solvent and resin systems covering low polarity to medium polarity range. Modification bentonite clay CP-22 behaves of low viscosity but high anti-settling and anti-sag performance. Due to its excellent dispersion,Modification bentonite clay has stable very low post thickening compared with other organoclay grades.

Application
                    Modification bentonite clay CP-22 is used in the following applications:

• Paints including top grades paints, decorative paint, industrial paint.
• Inks
• Grease, especially recommended in greases based on synthetic oils as

vegetable oil and polyester oil etc.

• Cosmetics.
• Sealants and adhesive.

Using
 Modification bentonite clay can be added directly in powder under high shear condition. Addition level is commonly 0.1%-1.0%(7%-10% in greases) of total formulation by weight. Polar activator can be eliminated, but small dosage of polar activator is helpful to achieve better performance.
