Solvent Based Organoclay Rheological Additive CP-EZ
CP-EZ is a kind of organo clay rheological additive of easy dispersion and high thixotropy. Especially it is recommended to be applied from low polarity to high polarity system including aromatic and aliphatic solvent.

It can be added directly in powder under high shear condition. The addition is recommended to be before grinding procedure to get the best effectiveness. Addition level is commonly 0.2%~1.0%. In medium and high polarity system, it can eliminate polar activator and disperse easily just under high shear. In low polarity system such as mineral spirit, if polar activator is added, better efficiency can be achieved. Dosage of polar activator is suggested to be 10%-20% of CP-EZ by weight.
